We are busy doing a piece of work to identify the reskilling, upskilling and training required to grow a thriving industrial biotechnology sector in the north-west, for both now and the future. This will cover all aspects including analytical, technical, policy, regulatory and soft skills and at multiple levels, including operator, technical, managerial and C-suite level.
We are also working to explore the drivers for building diversity and mechanisms to deliver driven by the need to attract the most talented employees and innovators from a diverse range of backgrounds, who can access investment to start, scale and grow businesses and retain talent in a highly competitive market.
Through these pieces of work, we aim to understand and highlight creative ways the identified needs can be addressed.
