IBIC is generating impact for the industrial biotechnology sector and the UK’s bioeconomy through commercial adoption, policy development, founding start-ups and spin-outs, scaling up technologies and training the next generation of industrial biotechnology specialists.

To accelerate this impact, we provide flexible, responsive, and coherent translational mechanisms that are specifically designed to support the progression of research outputs. Alongside this we offer multiple funding schemes to support different aspects of industrial biotechnology scale-up.
