Interdisciplinary Bioscience Research Conference
This is the first truly interdisciplinary research conference organised by the community of the MIB. It aims to provide an opportunity for post-graduate students and post-doctoral scientists at the University of Manchester to present their work to an interdisciplinary audience. This 2 day event will comprise of 7 key note lecturers and 32 oral presentations, with more than 80 posters.
The conference will focus on research from each of MIB’s research themes:

- Molecular Bioengineering (I) - Synthetic & Chemical Biology
- Molecular Bioengineering (II) - Biomaterials & Self-Assembly

- Systems Biology (I) - Pathways, Networks, Systems
- Systems Biology (II) - Systems Biology and its Applications in Medicine
